A watt is a watt, when it comes to [[heating]]. All indoor electricity usage will heat the home the same way.

Note:
* If your local electricity is generated by [[coal]] or [[natural gas]], then electric heating is 2-3 times worse ([[climate change]]) than a gas-burning furnace. Most power plants are only 33% efficient.
* Wasted electricity is equivalent to a [[space heater]]. It won't heat as efficiently as a [[heat pump]].
