On this wiki, we like making world maps. In general, we want the maps to be isochromic - meaning "equal coloring represents equal stuff". For example, if we're mapping population, every million people should be represented with the same total amount of "ink" or "coloring" on the page.


A lot of maps on the internet fail at this in various ways. [ELABORATION needed] That's why I made a small program in C for making isochromic images. I have not written any tutorials/documentation yet, unfortunately. I still have a lot more maps left to make first.
