Geoengineering

From the change wiki

Geoengineering is a proposed "solution" to climate change, involving adding particulate patter to the atmosphere to reflect away some amount of sunlight into space. This would likely do more harm than good.

Habitat loss

Major problem

Less sun → lower crop yields → more land needed to produce the same amount of food → more deforestation and destruction of ecosystems in general.

Research needed:

What about targeting only barren land that has no agricultural activity? Although keep in mind that desert land already has a high albedo and might not benefit(...)( in terms of sunlight reflected to cool the planet )much from geoengineering. [RESEARCH needed]

Pollution

Unknown

Would depend on the type of particulate matter used. [RESEARCH needed]
